The value of data can depreciate over time, so having a Last Refresh date on your dashboard helps better conceptualize what they’re seeing. To add this to your PowerBI dashboard, access the Query Editor and add a blank query with the Power Query M language below:

#"Changed Type1"- In the report, add a card visual at the bottom or top corner of the report page. Drop the field from the query you just created in the Fields panel. This will display as the date and time that the data for the report was last updated.
- Format the card visual to be consistent with the rest of your report.
- Refresh your dashboard to ensure that the date and time update accordingly.
